BBC’s Lockdown Orchestra: You’ve got the love

The BBC have recorded a great symphonic version of ‘You’ve got the love’ and are encouraging the public to get their instruments out and join in. So, I downloaded the part and gave it a go…and found it quite tricky! As with most pop music, there are lots of syncopated rhythms and plenty of very fast notes. So I transcribed an easier part made up of the violin parts already in the recording. I really enjoyed playing this part along with their backing track. So, if you’d like to give it a go, the sheet music (my easier version) is under downloads and a video of my part is on youtube. Let me know if I can help you with it in your lesson. Here’s the BBC’s backing track that you can play along with! https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p08c0py1
